Welcome to The Sourdough Farmstand

Around here, it’s my joy to inspire homemakers and microbakers to bake and ferment with purpose—nurturing a life of handmade food, heartfelt community, and a rhythm that feels like home.
Think of this page as our front porch where we get chatting up and we realize, we have got quite a bit to catch up on and we would really like to go visit inside around a cup of warm tea (or we could make it iced tea) and a buttery flaky hand pie.I share small-batch sourdough staples, specialty breads and seasonal treats for my local community; fermentation tips and wholesome recipes for home kitchens everywhere; stories, rhythms, and encouragement for busy homemakers craving presence; and resources for (micro)bakers who want to serve their local communities with real, nourishing food.Okay so that front porch analogy? let's get inside, but it's okay to skip the first room if you're not a local to our bakery.

Our village bakery serves the suburban communities located about 30 mins north west of Houston, TX along FM2920 from Tomball to Waller, TX.
If you are local to the area, you can pre-order sourdough, seasonal treats, and pantry favorites baked fresh for our local community several times a month. All the information and details you need are at the link below.

The Loaf Note is your weekly letter from the Village Baker’s kitchen—filled with baking tips, sourdough stories, wholesome recipes, and the occasional update on the intern (who still can’t be trusted with the bread list). It’s part village newsletter, part bakery diary, and always a little slice of slow, nourishing life delivered straight to your inbox.
Free Printables & ResourcesLooking for tools to help you bake, ferment, and live a little slower? I’ve started a small but growing collection of printable checklists, care guides, and helpful resources to make sourdough, fermentation, and homemade rhythms simpler.I’m most well-known for my sourdough pizza dough and crusts, and I love sharing tips on how you can offer them to your local community as a microbaker—or batch prep them for easy family pizza nights at home. But I’m also a well-rounded baker, so you’ll find resources for bread, treats, and pantry staples too.The library is small for now, but every week I’m working to add more—resources designed to support your kitchen rhythm, whether you’re baking for your family or growing your own bakery table.
